Systematic searching - with Concept!
ConceptSearch contains several methods and tools for optimising internal and external searches.
- ConceptSoundex: Searches for phonetic similarity.
- ConceptSynonym: Increases the search power/hit probability through automatic expansion of the search to include synonyms as well as systematic reduction by stemming. TextTech has access to extensive synonym corpora as well as tools for compiling company-specific and domain-specific synonym corpora.
- ConceptSuggest: Corresponds to the Google “Did you mean…” function – simplifies entry of the correct search term.
- ConceptTopic Maps: Topics related by content (content, products, people, …) are also found by means of topical associations – semantic expansion of the search domain.
- ConceptRecommender: Recommends implicit or explicit topics applicable to the search query (content, products, people, …). “Users who have searched for this have found that” / “Users who have searched for this have also found that”. Evaluation of applicable documents according to their own degree of relevance/Displays semantically similar documents.
- ConceptTextsearch: Facilitates searching for content, independent of the organisation and the scope of documents. Search results are individual pages in the hierarchical context of the associated documents and collections (hierarchical search engine).
ConceptSearch 2.0 - Semantic Collaborative Search: Uses the Web 2.0 mechanics and functions to find content and link it up. This does not occur via central editing and management, but is user-driven through use of the internal (company) and external community (public Web) – Use collective intelligence in the search!
